From printing, picking and making our own screens, to pulling inks and drying. I feel like my knowledge (and confidence) in screenprinting is much higher than before. Part of the class requires you "bring some artwork' ... so I scanned a sketchbook page. Taking the grim-reaper result and giving it the vector love and affection it deserved. Here are some photos from the day ... I have really talented friends and clients.  Recently I made good-pals with some amazing people on the other side of the world.  Canadian boardgame creators <a href="http://www.redshipstudios.com" target="_new">RED SHIP STUDIOS got in touch with me regarding an illustrated logo. They're a great bunch of guys, super nice and I can't wait to do more stuff with them in the future. Below you can see the final illustrated logo, along with both coloured and uncoloured concept-sketches. I was also asked to illustrate the three great minds of Red Ship Studios. They are; Jonathon the warrior, Robbie the wizard and Marco the archer. You can see below how they were clevely illustrated fighting-off a dragon! I feel like I'm a lucky guy. I have really talented friends and clients.

He was setting up his own film production business, 'THREE LEGGED LAB'. Exciting times. And the first thing on the agenda was getting some logo artwork together. Artwork. Pronto. Daniel cleverly named the business as a tribute to his loved three-legged labradour Buster.  Here's the final artwork we both agreed on liking... along with some work in progress shots. This time it was our turn... Working with the theme 'PAINT WILL SPILL', artist Luke Okay and I teamed up on a 'BRAINS WILL SPILL' piece. Taking a character I had floating around my sketchbook, we spent the afternoon working on the 6 metre high monster. Old-school bikes with an old-school approach to match.
