THE DEAD LOVE: SUGARCOAT SHIRT

Artwork for Sydney’s shitty-grunge band The Dead Love. I’m good pals with the guys and it’s always fun working on new shit for them. For this one the song SUGARCOAT was getting lots of airplay and we wanted something that focused on it. So I dissected the song and really dug the lyric “I HATE THAT EVERYONES THE FUCKING SAME”, so I curled it around a fucked up monster and here we go!

One of the things I like about The Dead Love, is that they always do things differently and their own way. So naturally they suggested putting the artwork onto mustard-yellow shirts, but after some mockups and finding the right shirts, they came out really cool and sold really well across the shows.
